busy week

I made a point to scrap everyday to make sure certain photos ended up on a page.

NSD (1/2)

This year I spent the day participating on www.acherryontop.com.  It was intense and awesome!  Here are some pages I was able to make:

More pages

I'm still trying to clear spring photos off my desk as we get ready for summer.  These were recently completed:

I guarantee no other scrappers ever had a conversation about the "best way to get poop on the page."  I used googly eyes and an Action Wobble so it will wiggle.

More pages

I went to a crop where I started a lot of pages. Then I finished them at home.  Here they are:

still scrappin'

I thought my pages were getting a little too simple, so I started looking in my idea books and at challenges again to give myself a little more creativity.  It's getting there...

As you know I went to a crop.  Here's the other pages I finished:

I need to order some brads to finish the other 3 I started.

few layouts

This new school schedule has me still searching for time to scrap.  Whenever I don't have kids, I'm napping to get ready to help them when they get home.  Someday I'll figure it out.

Until then, here are a few pages I made before.

They asked for fuel sprays while hubby was smoking some ribs.  (it was apple juice in the bottle).

We have gone through a lot of chalk this summer.

Crop pages (1/2)

We had a lot of events this month, then I had a crop.  Awesome!  It was the perfect reason to print and scrap the events before I forgot details.

Here are some pages I started at the crop (and finished at home).

My son chalking up the concrete.  He wrote "my big creation" on the page, but it's hard to see.  There is paper and ink for this layout:

"mom, why are you using chalk?"  "because you did."  Then I let them color on the page too.  I used chalk paper and chalk:

I used a punch, Basic Grey background paper, Echo Park paper and ink:

I used paper, ink and brown Liquid Pearls (to show where pigs are):

My younger son loves cars and was mad that other people would bump him so he couldn't just drive around.  I used Reminisce paper, Thickers, Liquid Pearls and Stickles.

One kid is a fish, the other has dry legs, but they both went in at least once!  I used DCWV paper and brads.

Their favorite part of summer was making the sand castle.  I used DCWV paper, brads and Liquid Pearls.

layouts

I'm in a group of scrappers called The Sheila's.  We all met online for a circle journal and stay in contact regularly, for over 5.5 years.  Some of us have even met in real life.

This week we are having a summer reunion.  The nice thing about this group is they get me to make things I normally wouldn't.  Some of the pages 'due' were these:

Scrap your favorite vacation:

I loved our 'staycation' evening in our back yard earlier this summer.

Scrap life now:

This is us.  I used colors I like because this layout is more for me.

There is more info under the smaller photos.

I used paper, ink, Scrappy Moms sentiment and Liquid Pearls.

I hope you use these colors on a project and link it to HIMCR this week for a chance to win 2 Digital images from 2 Cute In.

HIMCR #159 - Christmas in July! again!

Hi.  This week at HIMCR we all made projects for Christmas.  Again!  We received a digi from Blue Moon Creations so I made this card:

I used DCWV paper, Scrappy Moms sentiment, stickles and ink.

We also received a digi from Digi Digi Doodle.  I made this card:

I hope it looks like the ornament is hung on the tree with Stickle snow.  I also used DCWV paper, Liquid Pearls and Designers Calendar cartridge.

I hope you link a Christmas-y project to HIMCR this week to be entered to win digital images.

From crop (1/3)

I went to a wonderful crop this past weekend.  This was the first time I printed out only pictures I wanted to scrap instead of my usual "print everything in case the computer crashes someday."

During approximately 8 hours I ended up starting 13 layouts!  Whoa!  I didn't finish them all there because I don't bring things that need to dry like Stickles and I forgot things like pens, so I completed some at home the next day.  Still, that was great!

These are all from last summer.  I love when the photy and paper "do all the work' but I think I use a larger variety of my embellishments/supplies at crops rather than at home.

Here is the first batch of layouts:

Bo Bunny paper, ribbon, brads, Liquid Pearls.

Daisy D and Echo Park paper, ribbon, brads,

 Paper, Thickers

Echo Park paper.
