Life kept happening and I kept scrapping.  But I need to catch up on sharing what I made.

Catching up cards

 I made 2 "thinking of you" cards for friends of ours.

Nothing was on the calendar this weekend, so I got to scrap a lot!

She's expecting her first, a boy.  And I was able to use up some scraps.

For the first time EVER, I did 'my' stamp upside down!

I'm glad I still had a piece of coordinating paper.

For the cards I made, I used a nontraditiional color-black.  There's an Action Wobble behind the purple heart and washi tape on the inside of the cards.

Card

A friend is expecting soon.  I made them/her a card.

The supplies are for a make-n-take from a crop.  These patterns/colors are perfect for them.

OWH Memorial Weekend Bloghop

Operation Write Home, a charity that has supported heroes with handmade cards since 2007, will be closing later this year. All cards need to be sent in by August 1st, so we’re helping to get the word out!

For this hop we were asked to make a with red, white, and blue card in one of these themes based on an OWH sketch.

I have supported OWH for years.  I have family members that have been deployed over seas and I know how much a thoughtful note or card means to send and to receive.  I love how my hobby has been able to assist others in this way.

My parents celebrate a big anniversary this year.

Happy Valentine's Day!  This is what I made for my 3 guys.  (the envelope had a chocolate heart)

HIMCR #160 - Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight

HIMCR #159 - Christmas in July! again!

Hi.  This week at HIMCR we all made projects for Christmas.  Again!  We received a digi from Blue Moon Creations so I made this card:

I used DCWV paper, Scrappy Moms sentiment, stickles and ink.

We also received a digi from Digi Digi Doodle.  I made this card:

I hope it looks like the ornament is hung on the tree with Stickle snow.  I also used DCWV paper, Liquid Pearls and Designers Calendar cartridge.
