Best attempts...

For the first day of school, I put a photo of us and their favorite toy into their back pack as a 'secret' way to have comfort if they get home sick or nervous.  They've never used it, but I'm sure it helps knowing it's there.

Here are some attempts to get a group photo this year.  Turns out, it's a lot harder with a dog.

This page fits all 4 of the 'Scrap Our Stash' challenges for Scraptober Fest.

Scrap Our Stash: 2 Washi Tapes
Challenge YOUrself: a layout with you in the photo
Memory Nest: use sketch
My Scraps & More: color combo
Bonus: fit all 4 challenges on one page

Sun nap

We have a new dog.  Her story is stray, shelter, our house.  This page is about her 2nd day here.

The title and journaling says: a stray to a shelter to sun-napping.  what a difference a day makes.

And, I was able to do the challenge letters at Scrap Our Stash again!  I love their brain teaser of a challenge.  This month the word is PAPER.

P-purple (I'm very excited about using this color.  It influenced her harness/collar color)
A-alphas or animal
P-paw prints
E-Eight or enormous (8 paws and this is my largest monogram ever!)
R-right or round (the paws are on the right side of the page, the alphas and journaling are in the round part of the monogram.  I know I'm pushing it for this letter...)

O-orange
T-Thirteen/Three  (13 photos, 3 hearts)

This week at HIMCR Laurie is giving away a Fun Halloween Bundle.  Make sure you link a project for a chance to win!

HIMCR DT #103 - Wedding theme!

This weeks theme at HIMCR is wedding!

My brother is getting married in a few months so I made this card for them.

I know it isn't the traditional wedding style card, but it is THEM.  She likes owls and pink, he races Autocross and has a lot of tires.

The tires are on 3D adhesive and the owl is on an Action Wobble.  I also used an EK Success punch, Lily Bee Design alphas and ribbon.

I can't wait to see your wedding projects linked to HIMCR this week.
