Tissue box cover

Whenever I buy tissues, the box never quite matches our decor.  To remedy that, I made a tissue box cover.

First, I used the firm back side of a paper stack to make a top shell.  This way all the tissue pulling won't wreck the cover.

Then I arranged my nice papers to see where I wanted each pattern.

Next I began to adhere the top ones to the shell.

And wha-la ! 

A super fancy tissue box cover...

 ...that looks awesome from any angle...

 ...and gives you a conversation starter or bragging rights because it's handmade.

'Dots, Stripes & Plaids' and 'Linen Closet' stacks from DCWV were the source of the 10 stunning papers.

The boys were putting their jump ropes on my legs.  It was a lot of fun and I was soooo glad I had my phone on me.  That was the only camera I had access to in that moment.  I was impressed with the pictures.  They led to this layout:

 Aren't they cute?  I really lucked out.  Even though the main picture is great, I had to include other ones of them playing with the jump ropes.  I hid them under the caravan banner.

 I fussy cut squares from the paper and attached them as tabs on the bottom of the pictures.  They are all matted too.  The photos slide in between the 3-D adhesive strips for the banner.

I used 9 different papers from DCWV 'All About Boys 2' stack.  I was really excited when the alphas were the right color AND fit on the truck.  The words in the upper left corner are a rub-on.

It's been so hot outside that I have been hiding in the house and at my scrap desk.  I'm so happy with the things I have been created.  Here is one of them, a card.

The DCWV Dots, Stripes & Plaids stack was the dominant source of papers.  There are 11 different papers on it.  This is such a fun, cheerful card. 

I really like that it opens in the middle, not on the side like most cards. The stamp I used is by Fiskars.

Trucking stones with Momenta

I love printing pictures.  It gives me so many new things to scrap.  Here is a layout with my boys trucking stones around the driveway.

My Momenta supplies were great for these photos!  I used papers and card stock from PA-1334, PA-2328, PA-2390 and stickers off ST-2567, ST-2526, ST-3281.  Everything coordinated well and looks great together.

Dig it

First of all, I apologize for taking so long to post this layout.  I've had it done for almost a week.  But we got caught up in working the garage sale, Father's Day, etc.

I was very excited to find this dirt paper.  I was even more excited when the boys were helping their dad dig.  Perfect!

It's a simpler layout, but I used 4 different brands of digging stickers.  I love being able to utilize products.
