Operation Write Home Memorial Day Bloghop

All the cards you see today will be sent from soldiers, to their loved ones.  Awesome.  Here is my card:


This year the theme was to use Red, White and Blue with an OWH sketch.  I chose sketch 209:



 On my card I used DCWV and Basic Grey paper, punches, Fiskars sentiment, ink and the George and Basic Shapes cartridge.

  31. I really like how you've placed a smaller sentiment on the big white panel in this. I need to remember that since I tend to trim them into small pieces. Great interpretation of the sketch. Thanks for joining in the hop and supporting OWH!

  46. Hi Melanie: This sketch always scares me because it seems to have a lot going on, but you executed it perfectly! I think the white space on the sentiment panel is perfect and keeps the card from looking too busy. Very nice!
