I'm trying to get caught up on pages from last year when I didn't have access to my supplies.

MercyTiara's fb scrapbook challenge for December is to finish something.  I'm trying to get photos from the summer months onto pages.

This one isn't summer, but I really, really wanted to do it.  The pic is from our Sunday Thanksgiving/Family gathering.

Father's Day

Sun nap

We have a new dog.  Her story is stray, shelter, our house.  This page is about her 2nd day here.

The title and journaling says: a stray to a shelter to sun-napping.  what a difference a day makes.

And, I was able to do the challenge letters at Scrap Our Stash again!  I love their brain teaser of a challenge.  This month the word is PAPER.

P-purple (I'm very excited about using this color.  It influenced her harness/collar color)
A-alphas or animal
P-paw prints
E-Eight or enormous (8 paws and this is my largest monogram ever!)
R-right or round (the paws are on the right side of the page, the alphas and journaling are in the round part of the monogram.  I know I'm pushing it for this letter...)

I'm still scrapping.  Today I used some challenge blogs to help my creativity.

Sandbox truckin'

The boys are really using the sandbox and their trucks.

I used Fancy Pants 'Wave Searcher' paper, punch, brads and Momenta stickers.

Periscope

My son found a periscope in his uncle's old toy bin.  After we told him he could see things while hiding, it became really cool.

I used Fancy Pants and DCWV paper with Lily Bee Design alphas.  It's a simple design, but I like it.

Carrot Ziti

My older son asked for carrot ziti.  Since I was terrified of what he could possibly want, I didn't make or mention it for months.  Then he brought it up again.  This time I asked how to make it.  It was "regular ziti with carrots on top."  I could do that.

I had to make a layout of this meal.  I purposefully put it on a purple plate so that I could use that color in the page.

Yuckiest 10 minutes

I started journaling some of the trying events I've endured as a parent.  This is one of them.

This was also a harder layout for me.  There is no picture and I tore paper.  I used DCWV card stock, Basic Grey, Fancy Pants papers and brads.

HIMCR DT #125 - Thanksgiving or Thankful!

This week at HIMCR we are all making things with Thanksgiving in mind.  I took these photos 2 years ago and I have FINALLY scrapped them.

It's a tribute to the stove and the holiday.  This also lists all the foods we always make for this particular feast.

I used Fancy Pants paper, alphas, brads and ink.

Shopping Carts

The best way to keep the kids content while I shop is the kid carts.  They know each store by the carts.  Here is my layout depicting each of them:

Their favorite is the race car cart at Wegmans.  I have to admit, it's mine too.  That one is the easiest to maneuver in the aisles.

 I used photos from the last 3 years, but most were taken in the last 3 months.

I used My World cartridge for the cart and Cursive 101 for the letters.  There is 3D adhesive under the cart, ribbons and brads on Fancy Pants background paper.

HIMCR DT #119 - SSS!

These colors were perfect on a card for my husband's colleague.  I also used Fancy Pants, DCWV and Scrappy Moms Stamps.

HIMCR DT #116 - LOL! Lots of layers!

This week has Lots of Layers!  I made this layout:

Everyone lives in a different state, so it was really nice to have everyone together.  I used Fancy Pants paper, a variety of cardstock, a Fiskars punch and LilyBee alphas.

Scrappy Moms Stamps GD- Stamp reveal

 A set that is revealed this week is 'Love at First Bite.'

I made this layout with my son's favorite character and catch phrase:

This is the other one of the sets that is being debuted this week at Scrappy Moms, Wedded Bliss.

I made this card with one of the sentiments.  It's a great card for almost any occasion.

HIMCR DT #112 - Masculine Birthday Card! Or Scrap a Man's Birthday

For this week's challenge I made a card to give to my husband on his next birthday.

It has Fancy Pants paper, ribbon and a stamped sentiment.
