Is it 5:00 yet?

Summer is a time for vacations, friends and having a good time.  That is what inspired this card.

Here is the inside:

I drew, fussy cut and used Ek Success 3D dots for the bar and stools.  The bottles and glasses are from the Eyelet Outlet.

Now that all the crafty work is done, I'm going to relax with my favorite drink.

Thoughts derailed

I was creating at my scrap desk.  Then the boys decided they wanted to 'play' there too.

Their toys kept interrupting me and my train of thought.  lol

'Fun in the sun' Momenta card

It's so sunny and nice outside, it inspired me to make this card.  This is fun and relaxing all at the same time.

I fussy cut the images from Momenta's PA-2328 'Family Affair' paper pad.  I used embossed card stock from the PA-2330 paper pad.  Ek Success' 3D dots help give the sun, umbrella and sentiment dimension.  The fun brads are from the Eyelet Outlet.

Spare me! with Momenta

My family and I went bowling.  It was a while since I had been to the alleys, but I still did a great job.

Momenta products were great for displaying all the pictures that I took that night.

Plus I got to use my bowling brads!

They look great with the black circles I added finger holes on.  The 'Batman' cartridge provided a great background for the strike.

Products used: Eyelet Outlet, Crop-a-dile, Prisma Color 'Brittany Blue,' Gelly Roll white pen, 'Batman Brave and the Bold' cartridge.
Momenta paper: PA-0925 Great Outdoors, PA-2330 Super Pad, PA-2375 Bright CS, PA-1066 Family Affair CS, PA-1125 Relaxed CS, ST-2147 Black pad.
Momenta stickers: 16839Sassy Guy, 16863 ATTY Puffy, ST-5282 Primary Alpha kit, ST-2128 Boy Puffy title.

assistant

We are back from vacation, and unpacked...finally.  The other day I was excited to receive some fun mail full of brads and eyelets.  A certain little boy wasn't napping and decided to help me.  He inspected all the packages,

then helped me organize them all.

He was a really good helper.  We both enjoyed all the new things.

The TARDIS

Our family loves the show 'Doctor Who.'  One day my boys told me that their closet was the TARDIS (time machine) and their flashlights were sonic screwdrivers.

I really wanted to showcase their imagination so I made a TARDIS.

I used card stock from DCWV's  'Christmas & Winter' stack with some adhesives, alphas and Fiskars trimmer to make a 3D TARDIS.  The light at the top folds back so I can put this in a page protector later.

And inside the are my boys,

just like the Doctor.

Menu

I convinced the boys to let me take a picture of them as chefs.  After 60+ pictures, I had a good one!  Here it is:

DCWV's 'My Guy' stack supplied the 11 different patterned papers.  Their 'Chalkboard' paper is the large piece in the middle that I wrote on.

I used clothes pins to provide the option to change out the pictures and recipes.  The recipe on there now is one I actually use.  Being able to use my kitchen themed brads was a bonus.

Here are the boys modeling their kitchens, new menu and favorite train toys.
