Penguin wishes

It's December!  The month I made a lot of winter/holiday cards.  I have made it a personal goal to use up all my winter themed scraps before I cut into new paper.  The first card I have to share is this:

Isn't it cute?  It has Echo Park and DCWV paper, EK Success punch, ribbon, ink, Scrappy Moms stamp sentiment and 3D adhesive.

HIMCR DT #126 - Freesyle!

It's a freestyle week at HIMCR.  You can make whatever you want.  I made this layout:

Here is a close up of the left side,

and the right.

I used Plantin Schoolbook for the large letters.  Lily Bee Design makes the small alphas.  I even used deco-scissors!

I look forward to seeing your projects at HIMCR this week.

Let's eat!

Happy Thanksgiving!  I had a few minutes and decided to make a layout.  Since it's Thanksgiving I chose to do a page about food.

I made watermelon jello, or used the watermelon rind as a bowl and put jello in it.  It was really good and a lot of fun to have jello with a handle.

For this layout I used Moxxie, DCWV paper, Lily Bee Design alphas, brads and white ink.

Die Cuttin' Divas GD- Thank You

Today I am a Guest Designer for Die Cuttin' Divas.  The theme is Thank you.  I made this card.

I used 3D adhesive under the 'snow' and an Action Wobble under the sled.  It's a lot of fun and great way to say thanks for anything during the winter.

It is Echo Park paper, brads, Platinum and Cinnamon Stickles, Scrappy Moms Stamps, brads and Sesame Street Friends cartridge.

I look forward to seeing your creations this week.

HIMCR DT #125 - Thanksgiving or Thankful!

This week at HIMCR we are all making things with Thanksgiving in mind.  I took these photos 2 years ago and I have FINALLY scrapped them.

It's a tribute to the stove and the holiday.  This also lists all the foods we always make for this particular feast.

I used Fancy Pants paper, alphas, brads and ink.

Please share your thankful themes project on HIMCR this week.

50th anniversary

Tomorrow is the 50th Anniversary of the show 'Doctor Who.'  To celebrate, I made this card for my husband:

here's a peek at the inside:

I admit, it's not the best stamping.  But I still love how it turned out.  The blue TARDIS is on an Action Wobble.  All the images and phrases are from a set by Viva Las Vegas Stamps.

This week I am a Guest Designer at Die Cuttin' Divas!  The theme is Thanksgiving.  I made place cards for our family in preparation for the big feast.

Here is a close up of mine.  It shows the Stickles better.

This is a preview of how our table will look on the 28th.

I used Designers Calendar cartridge, DCWV paper and plain black cardstock, a white gel pen and adhesive.

I can't wait to see what you create!

HIMCR DT #124 - Die Cuts!

This week at HIMCR we used die cuts on our projects.  I made this layout of my son's current likes.

Under the picture is hidden journaling explaining everything.

My die cuts are the sun (Designers Calendar), cloud and lightning (Indie Art), clocks (Going Places) and stars (EK Success punches).  I also used brads, paper and 3D adhesive.

I hope you are able to link to HIMCR.  They are giving away a Cricut cartridge this week.

HIMCR DT #122 - Fall colors

This week we all used fall colors.  We also have Template Dreams as a sponsor.  I made this card with images from the 'Teacher Appreciation' collection.

Basic Grey is the background paper (its actually dark brown) and 3D adhesive make the small images on the right stand out.  Scrappy Moms makes the sentiment.
