It's hard to see the Icicle Stickles. There is some in each corner and I used them to glue the 8 dew drops to the paper. This is the first time I used the Stickles Glitter glue AS actual glue. The dew drops, circles and oval is from the Robin's Nest Outdoors Kit. I also used Echo Park paper, and Lily Bee Design alphas.

Beautiful Bling Bloghop
Welcome to the Beautiful Bling Blog hop. April's birthstone is a diamond, so we added some bling to our projects.
I made a layout.
A punch, Rhinestones, Diamond Ice Stickles and Diamond Stickles make up the 'stars' that my kids are supposedly looking at. I attempted to make some of them look like shooting stars, but I don't think it worked. Oh well.
Your next stop is: Suzanne
Here is the whole line up, just in case you need it.

HIMCR DT #95 Mother's Day
This week at HIMCR we are making projects for Mother's Day. I made this layout:
This is my son and I at a special evening preschool session for moms. He had made a x-mas light and on one side the teacher wrote his quote: "I love my mom because she reads stories to me." That is one of my favorite classes.
For the page I used: Moxxie 'Winterland' paper, Sandylion alphas, ribbon, brads from Eyelet Outlet, Yellow and True Blue Stickles. I LOVED that I got to scrap with purple, that doesn't happen often.
Please make any Mother's Day project and link it to the HIMCR thread.
Thanks!

RCS GD 'Brad Pitt'
I am a Guest Designer for Red Carpet Studios during the month of April. This week's theme is Brad Pitt. We all used brads on our projects.
My project is this 2 page layout:
The boys got a wooden car kit, apron and goggles from Sears. Dad helped to assemble everything. This is a closer view of the left side
and then the right.
I used 4 different types of brads. There is the large metal hammer (Hot Off The Press), 2 types of screws and small hammers (all from Eyelet Outlet).
I also used Three Bugs In A Rug 'Tool Time' collection with Momenta paper and Provo Craft sticker border.
Later this week I will be sharing 2 more car building layouts. They each feature one boy (more than the other).

The boys got to pick the Stickles design on the stars and where the eyelet on the animal page went.
For the tan dog I used Yellow, Scattered Straw and Waterfall Stickles with Prismacolor markers, Chore Chart cartridge, twine, straw and eyelets. For the dark brown bear I used Orange Peel, Scattered Straw and Waterfall Stickles to accent Prismacolor markers, Chore Chart cartridge, twine, straw and eyelets.

HIMCR DT #93 Super Scraps Saturday
This week at HIMCR we are using only scraps on our projects. I love using scraps. Sometimes those projects are my favorite. For this challenge, I made a layout:
I asked them to show me their faces and that was how they responded.
All these papers are scraps. The background paper I have owned for over a year. The 'Weathered Wood' Stickles bottle was already partially empty. The punch is new to me, but had been used by someone else.
Please make something with your scraps. Then you can link it to HIMCR too.

Bones
My son was concerned that his Big Doggie would be hungry because he had no bones to eat. His brother then had the same worries about his Big Bear. Mommy and her Cricut to the rescue!
They picked the color and quantity:
The animals and boys were very happy.
I used the Create a Critter cartridge.

Ghosts
Around Halloween, the boys put blankets over their heads to become ghosts. They did this after watching Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin episode.
I used Imaginisce papers, Ek Success punch and Black Soot Stickles. This turned out so cute!
