It's my dad's birthday, a round number too. His sister enlisted my help to make him a scrapbook of his early years. Here are 4 of the 5 pages that I made.
The family on show outings.
The band he played in. (Dad's the guitarist in the middle)
One of the schools he attended.
When my aunt brings the book back, I'll get a picture of the other page.

HIMCR DT #130 - ANYTHING but Holiday!
This week at HIMCR we are taking a break from all the holidays. I have a summery layout to share.
At lunch time, the boys came in and suddenly my kitchen island seats became a biker bar. It was so fun.
I used Echo Park paper; Lily Bee Design, Bella Blvd and another type of alphas; brads and 3D adhesive.
What are you making to get away from the holidays this week? Please share at HIMCR.

HIMCR DT #129 - Do it again! CASE yourself!
This week at HIMCR we are CASE-ing ourselves Copy And Share Everything. Carrie with CTMH is sponsoring us.
My aunt and I are making a scrapbook of my dad's childhood. Here is the remake of one of my layouts:
This was the original.
I couldn't stand the original. It was dark and not fun. That's what you get when a scrapper is interrupted literally every 10 minutes. The remake is MUCH better.
I used DCWV paper, ribbon, brads and Waterfall Stickles on the finished project.
I hope you link to HIMCR this week, the giveaway is a stamp set.

I bought a kit to make masks. The kids LOVED it. They got to choose what their costume looked like.
Their masks turned out great. And I got to use the DCWV 8.5x11 boy stack with super hero paper. I also used Scrappy Moms Stamps.

HIMCR DT #127 - Holiday colors!
This week we are using Holiday colors over at HIMCR. I used red, white, blue, black and silver.
It's hard to see the silver because the journaling is right on the striped paper. The monogram is from the Don Juan cartridge and the black letters are from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.
I hope you are all having a good time. I look forward to seeing your holiday colored projects on HIMCR this week!

Today's card is sweet! Ok, that was a bad pun.

Gift Tags
This year for Christmas, we are trying something new. We are giving extended family members a gift card and scratch off. I made tags (that can double as ornaments) to dress it up and create a good presentation.
The bow was a pain to make. So I used the ribbon to make a circle and turn all the tags into ornaments. This makes it easier, more practical and reusable.
Ek Success' punch worked great.
I used one part of the image on a tag
and the other cut out parts on a second one.
We all signed the back of the tags.
I think they turned out pretty good.
Now we have to deliver them all.
EK Success punch, ribbon, ink, DCWV paper, tags, streamer ribbon.

Magic
There's something magical about the holiday season. Even our bunny gets caught up in it. This is his first Christmas. He was VERY curious about the tree while we were setting it up. After it was finished, I let him check it out.
He had fun looking everything over and I had fun taking pictures and making this layout.
I used DCWV paper, brads, ink and Lily Bee Design Alphas.

Let's eat!
Happy Thanksgiving! I had a few minutes and decided to make a layout. Since it's Thanksgiving I chose to do a page about food.
I made watermelon jello, or used the watermelon rind as a bowl and put jello in it. It was really good and a lot of fun to have jello with a handle.
For this layout I used Moxxie, DCWV paper, Lily Bee Design alphas, brads and white ink.

Die Cuttin' Divas GD- Thank You
Today I am a Guest Designer for Die Cuttin' Divas. The theme is Thank you. I made this card.
I used 3D adhesive under the 'snow' and an Action Wobble under the sled. It's a lot of fun and great way to say thanks for anything during the winter.
It is Echo Park paper, brads, Platinum and Cinnamon Stickles, Scrappy Moms Stamps, brads and Sesame Street Friends cartridge.
I look forward to seeing your creations this week.

I used Fancy Pants paper, alphas, brads and ink.
Please share your thankful themes project on HIMCR this week.

50th anniversary
Tomorrow is the 50th Anniversary of the show 'Doctor Who.' To celebrate, I made this card for my husband:
here's a peek at the inside:
I admit, it's not the best stamping. But I still love how it turned out. The blue TARDIS is on an Action Wobble. All the images and phrases are from a set by Viva Las Vegas Stamps.

I hope you are able to link to HIMCR. They are giving away a Cricut cartridge this week.

This week we all used fall colors. We also have Template Dreams as a sponsor. I made this card with images from the 'Teacher Appreciation' collection.
Basic Grey is the background paper (its actually dark brown) and 3D adhesive make the small images on the right stand out. Scrappy Moms makes the sentiment.

Shopping Carts
The best way to keep the kids content while I shop is the kid carts. They know each store by the carts. Here is my layout depicting each of them:
Their favorite is the race car cart at Wegmans. I have to admit, it's mine too. That one is the easiest to maneuver in the aisles.
I used photos from the last 3 years, but most were taken in the last 3 months.
I used My World cartridge for the cart and Cursive 101 for the letters. There is 3D adhesive under the cart, ribbons and brads on Fancy Pants background paper.
