Bridal shower card

I made this card for my cousin.  When we were younger we'd play "Pretty Pretty Princess" so I put a crown on it.

Momenta was great for this.  I used the metallic PA-1411 for the background, PA-2376 for the crown, ST-5279 for the letters and ST-2905 flourishes.  It turned out really cool.

Anniversary Card

I made card this for my parent's anniversary this month.

I think it turned out really cute.  My folks liked that I made it for them.  It truly is one of a kind.

All the papers are Momenta's PA-1124 5x7 cardstock pack.  They look so good together and with the brads and Stickles.

(P.S. Sorry for the rough photo.  I took the pic at their house, not mine.)

Princes

Scrapbook.com is having weekly challenges for some great prizes.  I use the themes and deadlines to help me keep scrapping.  Here is what I entered in the 'bling' challenge:

I had a lot of fun with my Cricut and the 'Create-a-Critter' cartridge with all the shiny elements.  It was a good reminder that bling is ok on boy layouts.

Here is the layout I entered in the 'fashion' challenge:

I mixed the fonts so it can read 'scrapbookers shirt' or 'scrapbookers do it with their shirt on.'  These are all the scrappy shirts I currently own.  I'm glad I made a layout of them.  This way I can remember what they look like in case they get ruined with ink, ashesive or other supplies.

NSD Layouts

Hi.  I wanted to show you all what I created on National Scrapbook Day for the scrapbook.com challenges.  This is what we had to do and the time we had to make everything.

1- Make a themed card, 1 hour.  I made a Father's Day card.

2-Make a layout about home, 2 hours.    First I made this layout.

Then I thought it didn't have enough "home" so I made this one.  Actual paint and tape were used.

3- Use 5-10 sentences of journaling, 2 hours.  All my journaling is in the book.

4- Use a mask and mist, 2 hours.  I don't own any mists, so I masked with ink and negatives cut out by my Cricut.

5- Use a sketch, 2 hours.  Here is my interpretation of the sketch they provided.  I will be adding the other colors of paint to the arc after we open the cans.

6- Make a mini album with the theme 'time machine' and describe 10 things you don't want to forget, 1 week.  I'm still working on mine.

This was so much fun.  I can't wait until next year.  :-)
